I'venever felt that I was very good at these things, but people keep askingme to write reviews. So why not. Practice makes perfect. Expect (hed)pe "DIY Guys" CD/DVD in the next couple of days.
I have been a fan, and friend, of the No Clue Crewfor several years now. From the days rolling with Twisted Thoughts asthey played together, to later Sorgstocks and such in my own group asCRAP. These guys have put out several albums already; "Yule Time Logs","First Gear", and the "Warlord Ninjas vs Bloawlin' Monks". For thelongest time, I've thought that their recordings never equalled theenergy of their live performance. Something I've said to them sinceFirst Gear.
Finally, after a slight change in lineup, the NoClue Crew is back as a terrible threesome with "Unbreakable". This timearound, the Crew shows themselves as more diverse and mature than thepast releases. Maybe not in content (the absurdity in lyrics I loveabout these guys is still intact), but delivery. No Clue specializes onstuff that makes you wonder "WTF?" and pushes the limits. From"Licorice" with King Nasty being a personal favorite on the album, to"Clubzilla" that proves that everyone needs a club song on the album. The guys even go a more inspirational route with "It's About Us" and"Nobody Knows".
This is one of the better examples of "Juggalo Music" that isn't about murder and death all the time.
A full house in the new Mayhem Studio as we go crazy over new world champion CM Punk, and have in studio guests of Vicki Gambino and Mayhem Show MVP Jimmy Demarco, as well as guest calls from Fabulous John McChesney.
This is Episode 123 for Tuesday, July 1, 2008. You can get the episode here on Talkshoe, subscribe, and as always, stay tuned to www.WrestlingMayhemShow.com for the latest! The Wrestling Mayhem Show is recorded live and can be heard/viewed from 8 PM to 10 PM Eastern on Talkshoe.com and BlogTV.com.
This past weekend, I had the pleasure to film for some friends in the No Clue Crewat Sauce Storm 4. It was kind of nice to not perform or wrestle andjust sit back and enjoy most of the day. I had a nice two camera setupfor the DCW wrestling, and got some of the music (including recordingmost of the No Clue set in a very drunken state. But dammit, I'm aprofessional and got the job done respectibly.)
It was good tohang out with some people out there. I got to chill with some oldfriends, including Snackz, whom I hadn't seen in over a year. I met hisnew girlfriend, and saw that there was a little Juggalo on the way.Snackz showed me the wonders of 151 Vodka, and I had a nice 6 pack ofLabatts to work through the night. I love Ohio beer sales. TheDCW wrestling was pretty good. The ring they got last year came inhandy again, and a few of the guys are coming along pretty nicely inthe ring. More of the matches were far more entertaining and came offreally well. Then the rain and lightning hit. I took cover with Missyand a friend at a local McDonald's and got back just in time to seeOHM, a group with a female lead singer that did some interesting coversand some trippy tunes that I think required some LSD to enjoy properly. Then, of course Unity for Life was up next. If nothing else, those guyshave a big ass crew. Then, No Clue went on and spanned their entire 3album history. The linup changes have not kept these guys down. I am completely covered in sauce from this one.
Afterthe sets, which finally ended about 2 AM, it was time to drink more andbounce around the camp sites. I love this, because it's the feeling youget of the Gathering of the Juggalos, just on a smaller scale, withless assholes. I ran into Shook and bullshitted with him for a while. I only believe half of the stuff they say about you now, sir.
Aftera night sleeping in the SUV, we were treated to a hilarious hot wingcontest, that came down to the security guy and some blonde girl andtheir "Stupid Fucking Hot" wings. Then, as the DCW match of the daystarted, the rain came down. Hard.
I have to give so muchcredit to the No Clue guys. They are always ones to out do themselvesyear to year. This thing just grows and grows. Keep an eye on theseguys.
First of all, I had the pleasure to talk with Mark from Insolence a couple days ago live from Omaha Nebraska stop of the latest Kottonmouth Kings tour. We talked touring, the music biz, and son on for a bit. Couldn't get a graphic up yet, but you can scope the interview right here, as always.
And stay tuned, be cause we have a late night interview with D-Murder coming up this next Tuesday.

I highly doubt I will be throwing a fourth of July party this year, but next year may be able to go down. I may end up being able to drive to pittsburgh though for this FREE event. So, thursday night i was lucky enough that my friends Ken, dave and joey, had an extra ticket to Dethklok the Cleveland show, at the House of Blues. so just after getting off work off we went. the show's lineup was (for those who didn't know) Soilent green, Chimaira and Dethklok, so it was the first time i was at the house of blues in cleveland, it's a nice club felt a little small on space, a top balcony section that made it a little hard to see from all the way in the back but they had alot of tvs around that broadcasted the show, nice floor area for all the pit kind of people, (to which ken dave and joey are) i myself am the kind of guy who enjoys standing about halfway back with all the hot girls who don't want to get into that mess either
Soilent green, was the opener, they where an ok band, the where clearly skiller as a band but to me and my friends felt where just ok and not really to impressive. but not a terrible band.
Chimaira was up next, Playing to a Home town crowd, this was the first time i have heard anything from them, and it was an amazing first impression. They put alot into the show. very heavy and amazingly skilled, im definitely to look into their stuff. just and entertaining set all around
Then finally, Dethklok!!!!!!!!!! This was one of the most entertaining sets i have seen short of Insane Clown Posse. the show was pretty amazing, the live touring band of dethklok is Brendon Small, Gene Hoglan, Mike Keneally, Bryan beller. and they are amazing live. Brendon is incredible on the guitar, most of the main rifts are done by small.
the show has a screen playing behind then videos for each song, skits like the cartoon show (also playing on all the video screens around the venue) , it was fucking awesome, watching between brendon's preformence (outstanding) the video. it was one the most fun i have had at a show.
if it's still coming to your area, fucking go see it, I'm going to get to the next one that comes around without a second thought!!!!!!!!!
over all i give the show a
The most Brutal show ever!!!
plus i just remembered, there was one guy who had his hair cut just like murderface,

Kottonmouth Kings & Tech N9ne Headline Strange Noize Tour, America's Biggest Underground Music Festival, Alongside (Hed)p.e, Sen Dog (Cypress Hill), X-Clan
The biggest and most notorious underground rock and hip-hop festival, Strange Noize, has returned as this summer's hottest ticket. This year's festival will be co-headlined by rip-hop hybrids, Kottonmouth Kings, and Kansas City's Tech N9ne, with support on all dates coming from (Hed)p.e., Sen Dog (Cypress Hill) and hip-hop legends X-Clan.
"We realized the extreme force that was created after last year's Strange Noize Tour," says Kottonmouth Kings frontman Daddy X. "It was the intensity and electricity that I haven't seen at a show in years. I don't think there were any fans leaving dry or unhappy. The second year will be a big middle finger to the detractors and haters in the industry that fail to recognize the magnitude of this underground movement."
"The first tour was a wild and crazy party -- the second one is gonna be a madhouse," says an excited Tech 9Ne. "I can't wait to get back on tour with my family. I hope we keep doing these because they're off the chain!"
The Strange Noize music festival debuted in 2007 and quickly became one of the summer's hottest tickets. The tour united two of America's biggest independent record labels - Suburban Noize and Strange Music - for one summer music festival that sold out over 40 dates across the country. The tour was a powerful message to the music industry that underground music could infiltrate the masses on a large scale with a sound too loud to be ignored any longer.
The Kottonmouth Kings are deep into the recording of their tenth studio album, "The Green Album" in Burbank, CA. The album is due for release in Fall 2008 through Suburban Noize Records.
Tech N9ne's newest release, "Killer" hits stores July 1, 2008 through Strange Music. The album is the highly-anticipated follow-up to "Everready (The Religion)", and features guest appearances from some of rap's most compelling artists including Ice Cube, Scarface, Kottonmouth Kings, Dirtball, Mista Fab and Paul Wall.
The innovators of G-punk, (Hed)pe are gearing up to tour in support of their first ever live album and DVD release, "The DIY Guys", which is set for release July 8, 2008 through Suburban Noize Records. The CD portion will contain three brand new studio recordings, a live performance captured at Hollywood's legendary Key Club, and previously unreleased songs.
After nearly two decades as co-emcee of the seminal rap group Cypress Hill, Sen Dog is poised to attack hip-hop's jugular with the release of his first solo album, "Diary Of A Mad Dog." The album marks an untethered opportunity for Sen Dog to again gnaw away at genre lines and conventionalism -- on his own terms.
Since making a triumphant comeback with the critically acclaimed "Return From Mecca", X-Clan has been hard at work on their upcoming studio album "Mainstream Outlaws", due for release in late 2008. One of the genre's most influential crews of all-time, X-Clan continues their legacy of conscious and uplifting hip-hop wisdom.
Exclusive Fan V.I.P packages will be made available through www.KottonmouthKings.com and www.TheRealTechN9ne.com. Packages will include tickets to the show, meet and greet with the artists before the show, limited edition t-shirt, posters and CDs. The tour will be sponsored by FYE, SRH Clothing and Havoc TV.

You've asked for it. And asked for it. But finally, I received word that Juggalo Day is officially on for August 30, 2008!
Now for those not familiar with Juggalo Day at Kennywood, here's a quick refresher. This event was started by those ninjas long ago at PittsburghJuggalos.com (then .net, then pajuggalos.com), and managed to out live all of those sites. The event has seen crowds of anywhere from 30 to 200 Juggalos in one place at one time, rolling through the park, having a good time. There have been slight run ins with the law only twice in it's 8 year history, so we ask that Juggalos and Juggalettes use some common sense when they come to the park (no face paint, no faygo throwing, etc)
Don't know what your missing? There will be pics back up soon of all the past mayhem, and int he meantime, you can check outplenty of videosontheinternet!
Sorgstock was coming together like most; last minute changes, no shows, traffic delays making things crazy at the last minute. This year we had a ring, thanks to Matt “Lucien X” and Paul. The RWA and Weekly Features crews showed up in caravan form with Landshark riding a car and Doc Remedy hanging out the window coming down the road in an amazing fashion. Everyone pitched in and we got the ring together while I was still running around securing everything else, and Paul ran a small clinic for the guys, which was great. I know it opened at lot of our eyes in regards to what we thought we knew compared to what we don’t with someone actually trained in there showing us. I look forward to upcoming training with Paul and some other oppurtunities in the future.
The wrestling kicked off with a dark match between RWA’s Jimmy Mack and Johnny Switchblade. They did a great job in there warming up for a last minute add with Switchblade, representing the RWF faction, getting the pin.
Next, the upcoming Death Defying Wrestling promotion was represented with Bobby Danger pinning Lucien X in a “Prove Yourself Match”. In the process, Lucien has his chest turned into hamburger meat.
The Sparrow, an old LWF staple from way back in 2001’s Sorgstock Edition, returned to take on Ro-Sham-Bo. After frustrating the Mexican with several blocks to his patented nut shots, Sparrow disctacted his foe with a Green Card to get the win. He then exclaimed to find out who Ro-Sham-Bo was, citing the allegations of Dicktoad Sweetass, only to reveal yet another mask underneath, as the mexican went running backstage.
We had a small intermission, followed by Landshark coming out to tell the story of how he got his name. This was quickly interrupted by the Weekly Features, cocky enough to not even bother bringing their championship belts, celebrating their own tag team dominance by talking about themselves for a while. They were interrupted by the duo of Mexican Jew Lizard and Sweaty Snatch coming out for some foreign reason, then Bobby Danger and Lucien X wanting to challenge, and finally a peculiar team of Jimmy Mack and Landshark. After much back and forth and fights breaking out, we find ourselves with an 8 man tag with the winning pinner’s team getting the tag championship. In a match filled with all out brawls, miscommunications, and straight up language barriers, the Weekly Features get the pin, causing Bobby Danger to lay out the challenge of a Ladder Match for the belts at the next Sorgstock.
After the match, Sweaty Snatch reentered the ring to confront the referee, Ausin, in the middle of the ring. Again, citing a bit of a language barrier, he didn’t know was a multi-tournement winner in amateur wrestling, which he found out when he was flipped on his ass by the young referee.
Next was a meeting with returning LWF Champion, after 7 eyars, Chachi, as he took on Hardcore Champion The Scion in a belt vs belt hardcore match. The Scion quickly overcame the rusty champion, even overcoming an ambush during his ring entrance. After becoming a double champion, Scion declared the LWF belt a piece of crap, joining it with the Hardcore belt, and throwing the old strap in the garbage.
One half of the big double championship main event went down as a last man standing match between Elder Statesman, and LWF Champion, Chad the Shad. Statesman had Chad on the run in their first encounter, to be put down by a last effort super kick by the realing champion. Chad was also said to be 0-2 in last man standing encounters, giving Stateslman the edge. In a match that involved steel chairs, choke slams on plate warmers, and an uncerimonious attack by Assault of the MCK, Chad the Shad pulled out all the stops to put the States man down for the ten count for good.
Last up was final in a long rivalry between Hardcore Champion The Scion and Doc Remedy. Both were broken in with previous matches in the night and pulled out all the stops in this brutal encounter. Remedy had a long road to finally take down the Champ, being beaten at least two times before in quest for the title, and this time, pulled it off. The two settled this war with a handshake after the match.
With the wrestling over, there was an intermission to setup for the music, but before we had everything together, Landshark took stage one more time. We were taking donations to help even up the financials in putting the event together, and he wanted to help. After some interesting conversation, he declared that if someone put $20 in the bucket, he would sing “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” in his scivies to myself. The money came quick. And I reassurt that I have no shame (though this came very close to the limit). And I’m so shameless that I will put this on the ‘net for all to see…
The Deadbeats were up first, a group I invited after seeing at a recent show at The School in Pittsburgh, and did a good job, even doing a quick collab track with Paul Hammond. Playa 2 was up next to throw down a new track. Then Paul Hammond did his solo thing. I’m a big fan of “Chosen1″.
Next, I took the stage with Chachi. We did a medly of songs from the CRAP and Nerdz Eatin Shroomz collections and pulled off a pretty decent set that ended with about ten people on stage (the wrestling ring with the ropes taken off) bouncing up and down during Monkey Flings Poo, our usual mayhem-inducing ender. We did some tracks we hadn’t done in almost a year, I tried singing Jeff’s parts at least once, but it was a lot of fun to do something different with the 8-bit Gangsta, Chachi.
Poetically Gifted Honkeys were up next and were really good. they were the first group I had invited without seeing in person before, and they delivered. I look forward to playing with these guys in the future around town.
And finally, MCK was up to close the night with their set. Repping the Sublime, and giving up “Don’t Wanna Be” to the absent Big Daddy Shit.
It was a great, successful day, with a lot of people coming together. Sorgstock Summer Edition is slotted for August 16, and we have at least one match to look forward to. Check back as I will be posting videos and matches for weeks to come, I’m sure, so everyone can see how it came down.
Sorgstock has come and went once more. We had an amazing wrestling program lined up, with some last minute additions to the roster (sporting a whopping 12 wrestlers total). We had a ring for the first time, Chachi came back to wrestling and we finally put the LWF title to bed, Doc Remedy is the Hardcore champion (finally) and things are stepping up!
A big thanks to Matt and Paul for helping with the ring hookup, MCK and Ryan for bringing up the sound and embracing the camp out by creating their tent city, all of the wrestlers for working so hard, all of the artists who showed up and rocked it on something of a diferent venue.
