Due to the conjunction of family crisis, and hence, financial issues stemming from dealing with these issues and traveling to hospitals, etc, it has come to my attention that we cannot do Sorgstock at this point. We simply cannot afford to.
I apologize to all that have planned to join us or perform that day. This has been a long time coming, and the final straw came today.
We will return in the Spring, and all of you are invited to join us then.

What is Sorgstock? A small festival/party where music and wrestling from Western PA and Ohio come together to have a good time in the middle of nowhere where no one will bother them!
How long has this been going on? Sorgstock started in 1998 around Halloween when a small band called Paralyzed Mimes played for some friends. Then in 1999, LYNT did the same to a larger crowd. Then, in 2000, LYNT was joined by other local acts, ROD and Operation 2814 to a much larger crowd. Then the next summer we tried something different with Armed Battery, Darkwater, and some LWF wrestling. Things didn't go so well. After several years of hiatus, Sorgstock returned in 2005 under the flag of WPAJ, Deface Marketing, and with new wrestling affiliations with DCW and RWF.
Where is it? In the backwoods of Jamestown, PA, about 80 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA. There is an area for camping tents for those that plan to drink and need a spot to crash.
Is there food and alcohol? This event is BYOB, mostly since we can't legally sell any, anyways, and we know people like to throw a few back while partying. We are looking into options for a food stand this year, so bring a couple bucks. We usually provide directions on site to the closest beer and liquor stores for last minute needs.
